Witness the majestic Southern Right whales that come to the Cape each season to breed and calve. Whale season typically runs between June and November in the Cape, and each season, large numbers of whales can be seen along the coast.

Our tour starts with a scenic drive along Boyes Drive. We pass little villages on the False Bay coastline as we make our way to the naval village of Simon’s Town. At the Town Pier, we board the only False Bay whale watching boat licensed to approach the whales within 50 meters. You will be able to watch as these giants of the deep frolic in the waves and launch out of the water to breach.

After about two hours we return to Simon’s Town for lunch (own account).

In the afternoon we proceed to Cape Point Nature Reserve. There is an optional stop at the Boulders Beach penguin colony (own account). En-route to Cape Point, we will stop to take in the views and see if we can spot more whales. Within the reserve, we will look out for baboons, ostriches, zebras and other wildlife as we make our way to the Cape of Good Hope.

We return to Cape Town via Chapman's Peak Drive and Victoria drive. We should arrive in beautiful Camps Bay in time to witness the spectacular African sunset.

In your comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle you will be able to relax and enjoy the sights on this memorable Cape Whale watching tour.
